Bindu is taken as the vital instrument to denote the voidness as well as the signification of the moon representing air element which is one of the most important components of the mandala. bindu occupies a unique place as a minute unit of space. the hub of chakra consistes of three parts the first is the central point,which is called bindu, around which all else revolves, the second is the thick round part into which spokes are inserted, and the third are the spokes, known as aras in Sanskrit
